As many of you will have already heard, Mark Havart, a long standing and much liked figure on the local jam circuit passed away on on the evening of Saturday November 1st. Our thoughts are with his brother Tim and the family. He will be missed.

Mon November 10th - Featuring Alix Live
The real deal. Having played with James Brown and Funkadelic as well as
being one of the best Hendrix acts around, Alix is a true class act.
His skilfull blending of funk, blues, classic rock and soul is a rare treat.
Mon 17th November - Featuring Dr. Noel Brown
Familiar to many playing with Robin Bibi, Noel has this to say about himself:
"I started gigging many years ago and have played with loads of people who
have moved on and up/down/sideways/nowhere since. For a while I played
alongside Albert King and Jerry Lee Lewis but it all ended disastrously
when the stereo caught fire."
"I've also been in bands doing everything from Memphis to New Orleans via
Nashville and Chicago. I've also been on stage in the West End and was
(very briefly) in EastEnders a few years ago as well as giving guitar
lessons to Kirsty Maccoll. I also play (fretless) bass, dobro and pedal
steel guitar."
"Since the ban kicked in I smoke more cigars than I used to when I was
gigging so the ban hasn't really affected me. If I didn't cough sometimes
I wouldn't get any exercise at all."

Sat 15th Nov - Rich Austin with the Jam-Pact rhythm section - The Percy Lambert, Weybridge
Versatile and talented singer/guitarist Rich will be know to many from his very popular band
Masters Of The Universe. Here he will be joined by Mark and Tony to form a
high-energy three-piece performing a diverse range of classic and
current rock and popular music.
Sun 16th Nov - Shock Contender - Yates, Aldershot
Young but experienced band Shock Contender who were national battle-of-the-bands
finalists will entertain you with a good mix of popular and funky songs.
Look out for Lee's "light-up" bass guitar!
Sat 22nd Nov - Chester Longman - The Percy Lambert, Weybridge
Featuring Tony from the Jam-Pact rhythm section on drums who used
to play with this line-up many years ago, this experienced three-piece
play classic rock and pop including songs from Bowie, T-Rex and the Stones.
Sun 23rd Nov - Alix Live - Yates, Aldershot
